About Me

My name is Sanaz; which means spring or black swan in Persian. I was born in 1977 in Tehran, Iran. In fall 2004 I decided to follow my dreams and become a photographer. My interest in photography stems from a background in science. I was drawn to cameras primarily for their ability to faithfully record scenes.

The design of my website is based on the idea of minimality. At the same time, it contains strong references to Persian motifs, highlighting my background.
